Summer activity costs and what clothes your child should wear during masjid class times starting Wednesday 27th July!
Assalamu Alaykum dear parents,
I pray you are all in the best of health and Imaan InshaAllah.
If your child does not have a unique HAF code please send them in with £5 per day starting from this Wednesday which will cover the cost of either rock climbing / wall abseiling (at creation activity centre) or swimming. We do not know beforehand which activity we will take them to (depending on availability) but we will endeavour to take your child to one of these. We are also providing food for an additional £4. Just so you are aware, students who are attending from outside our masjid for these activities and lesson are paying £20 per day but for our own students we are only charging the costs of what we have to pay to the sport venues.
We do not have any free sports activities onsite as our hall is still under renovation so if any children do not attend rock/climbing or swimming we will try and take them to a local park with their teachers InshaAllah. We will do our utmost as much as possible to accommodate all children so they have some form of activity at the masjid.
Obviously if you have a HAF code and have provided this then all activity costs are free.
Also, please note that each child will also be doing one hour of learning so they will not be missing out on their Qur’anic/Islamic studies. I would encourage parents to send their children to the masjid for activities so they can bond with their teachers, fellow students and experience both learning and playing in the masjid this summer InshaAllah.
Finally, please send your child in with swimming gear / trainer / track suits bottoms in the case that we take them for these activities so that they are ready to go at any time we see there is availability. We have booked around 180 children places in total every day for swimming / rock climbing.
