Final sports day tomorrow Saturday 7th August and Sunday 8th August!

Assalamo Alaikum dear parents,

We pray you are in the best of health and Imaan InshaAllah.

We are inviting all students to attend the masjid tomorrow from 10.15am to make use of Joseph Chamberlain College Sports Halls (girls and boys) before we hand these halls back on Sunday when our indoor sports project for summer comes to an end.  All students, regardless of their class timings / days, can attend tomorrow.  Please make sure your child(ren) arrive by 10.15am tomorrow Insha’Allah.  These sports hall are costing around £500 per day for our children and we fought very hard for our children for this sports project.  Please use these facilities for your children as much as possible tomorrow and Sunday Insha’Allah.  If your child is already scheduled to attend Saturdays / Sundays they should attend their normal times (11am) but if they read from home online or attend weekdays they can still attend tomorrow but should arrive at 10.15am.  We will set up badminton courts, dodgeball games and indoor football!

Boys and girls of any age can attend.  If your child attends tomorrow and does not have classes with us on Saturday you can pick them up for 12.45pm Insha’Allah.  Otherwise, they can stay at the masjid and continue with their classes until home time (3pm).

All student will be given a packed lunch and snacks to take home Insha’Allah tomorrow.  For those already scheduled classes, they will read for their Qur’an lessons as normal but given opportunity to do sports Insha’Allah.

Please ensure your child has trainers and plenty of water based fluids (no fizzy drinks).
