The Birmingham Qur’an Academy was founded in 2010 with just a single student and a single teacher. The Academy aims to preserve and develop the soundest oral tradition of Qur’anic recitation and is leading the way in teaching Qur’anic recitation, Tajweed and Hifz-ul-Qur’an.
