I pray this message finds you in the best of health and Imaan Insha’Allah.
We are approaching the blessed month of Ramadan. We wanted to share that Ramadan is a time of reciting the Qur’an, doing good deeds and lots of blessings and these rewards of doing such acts and good deeds are multiplied in Ramadan. We are noticing that Ramadan is starting to look a little different this year in terms of timings and will continue to be different for the next 30 years. We have decided that we would like to keep things the same for the consistency of attending the Masjid and attaining its blessings to continue throughout the month of Ramadan and for the years of Ramadans to come. We would like for children to open their fasts at the Masjid during Ramadan so please send in your child with a packed lunch so that they can eat to open their fasts. We know that there are parents who sit and wait in the car for their children to finish class who we will also be accommodating during the month of Ramadan and making arrangements for them to sit in the Masjid and open their fasts.
Please take note of following changes that we have made during the month of Ramadan:
1st week & 2nd week:
Weekday classes will continue as normal and timings will remain the same. We will be allowing a break to open fasts and do give permission to parents to come early to collect their children should they wish to.
3rd and 4th week:
These will be during the school Easter holidays. Weekday classes will be running from 3pm – 6pm
First shift timings will be from 3pm – 4:30pm
Second shift timings will be from 4:30pm – 6pm
Weekend classes for all of Ramadan:
If your child just attends on the weekend, classes will run from 11am – 2pm
