As we approach the blessed month of Ramadan we remind all our students and teachers that this is the month of the Qur’an where we increase our connection and recitation of the Qur’an.
ONLINE CLASSES:
These classes continue as normal, no changes to timings.
PHYSICAL CLASSES:
These will continue as normal during Ramadan however classes finish at 7pm rather than 8pm for first 2 weeks of Ramadan. For the last 2 weeks of Ramadan classes will finish at 7.30pm inshAllah. Other than earlier finish times there are no changes to the classes.
Week 1 & 2 timings: Monday to Friday classes
First Shift: 4:30pm – 6:15pm
Second Shift: 6:15pm – 7pm
Week 3 & 4 timings: Monday to Friday classes
First Shift: 4:30pm – 6:15pm
Second Shift: 6:15pm – 7:30pm
Those students who normally attend from 6.15pm are encouraged to attend earlier to make up for missed time.
FEES:
Please note that fees in Ramadan are due regardless of your child’s attendance during Ramadan. If you choose for your child to take time out that is your choice however fees cannot be waived as we do not operate a pay as you attend policy. Fees are always due if your child is enrolled with us.
IFTAR:
Students will do iftaar in the class inshAllah. Students should bring in their own food to break fast. We encourage that students do iftar with others to experience and appreciate brotherhood/sisterhood and sharing with one another.
DONATING FOOD FOR STUDENTS:
We welcome parents to donate food for our students to open their fast.
TARAWEEH AT THE MASJID:
Isha jamaat starts at 7.30pm at the masjid. This year’s taraweeh prayers will be led by Ustadh Shauket Fazil and Hafiz Ibrahim Fazil, inshAllah. Parents and students are invited to attend.
