Dudley Zoo Trip, Monday 18th August 2025, Timings!
Assalamu alaykum dear parents,
We are messaging all those that have been booked for tomorrow’s trip to Dudley Zoo. We will leave for Dudley Zoo from our normal summer camp venue site of 23 Ombersley Road (Bahu Centre Building), B12 8UR at 9am Insha’Allah. We depart from Dudley Zoo at 5pm and return at around 6pm InSha’Allah.
Parents attending with their own children:
All parents that are attending must keep and supervise their own children at all times. On arrival at Dudley Zoo, parents are free to take their children around the Zoo but must be back at the coach drop off area for 5pm. The coach drops off area is right in front of Dudley Zoo entrance/exit area.
Children attending without their parents:
We will be supervising all other unaccompanied children that are not attending with parents. We have already allocated these children into groups. All unaccompanied children will be allocated supervisors in the morning before departure. Unaccompanied children (without parents) must always stay with their supervisors so they are kept safe at all times.
Food arrangements:
We will provide all children who are part of HAF with sandwiches. Parents and non-HAF children should bring their own food please. However, everybody should bring their own water bottles/drinks.
Clothing/Weather:
The weather forecast is forecasted is warm and sunny for tomorrow. Please ensure your child has a water bottle to keep hydrated and has the correct clothing and footwear on for the day. We will not be providing drinks/water so please make sure your child has ample water/drinks.
Payments:
For those parents and children that are not HAF, your payment should have already been made. However, if not, you can make payment today (if you prefer) over the phone by calling 0121 4404096 and state that you want to make a payment to the Birmingham Qur’an Academy as a Donation and state the amount that you want to pay. Each place costs £25 per adult and £20 per child (for non HAF people). This includes the coach and zoo ticket. It does not include food (for non HAF children). Once you have made payment kindly email us at admin@birminghamquranacademy.co to let us know.
We will be using our sms system (phone texts) to let you know of changes and our exact ETA timings for tomorrow.
